Rose Standifer

Rose is a seasoned startup lawyer and enjoys representing high-growth and emerging companies across industries, focusing on technology startups. She routinely acts as outside general counsel to her clients and regularly advises entrepreneurs and investors on company formation, venture capital investments, technology licenses and exit considerations.

Clients work with Rose because she is trusted legal and business advisor who stays focused on business goals. She enjoys educating entrepreneurs and investors on legal risks (and opportunities) and creating agreements that allow her clients to get back to work, either getting their business up-and-running or to the next level of growth.

Rose has a strong commitment to pro bono and community. She volunteers her time with several startup accelerators, serves as a mentor for entrepreneurship programs, and has acted as corporate counsel for nonprofit foundations.

Rose is also an advocate of diversity in the legal profession and the venture capital ecosystem and is active in women’s leadership and mentoring organizations.

Prior to joining Sage Law Group, Rose developed her deep understanding of the venture capital ecosystem and discovered her knack for advising entrepreneurs while working at law firms in Silicon Valley and the Front Range.

Rose lives with her husband and two daughters in Denver, Colorado.
