Rex is a former start-up founder who is now a corporate and securities lawyer, specializing in the representation of emerging growth companies throughout their lifecycles. He represents a wide variety of technology companies from the life science, consumer internet, software and clean technology industries, as well as venture capital firms. Rex’s clients view him as a trusted business advisor who stays current on technology trends and priorities for companies of all sizes and types.
Rex was a co-founder and the CEO of Radiant Data Corporation, a data storage software company, where he managed the sales team and led the company’s fundraising efforts. Rex also served as general counsel of Fischer Imaging Corporation, a publicly traded radiology equipment company. These roles, combined with Rex’s significant experience as a law firm partner and managing partner, uniquely equip Rex to advise clients on unforeseen issues and risks, not just the initial problems that are presented to him.
Although Rex has spent most of his career in the legal profession, his first professional stint was as a social worker, mainly working in the juvenile justice system. Rex is an avid domestic and international traveler but he always enjoys returning to Colorado, which he proudly considers home.
