Lori Magnus

Lori enjoys the challenge of discovering the particular nuances of each new deal, understanding the needs of her clients, and integrating that information with her vast knowledge of contracts. She has a keen eye for detail and excels at ensuring all contract provisions are integrated.

Lori started her legal career at Mattel, Inc., where she was the liaison between Mattel in-house counsel and companies licensing the Barbie® trademark. She singlehandedly grew her role until she was overseeing the contract licensing division, including five contract administrators. Following her move to Colorado, Lori continued to sharpen her contracting expertise by serving as the sole in-house legal representative at two local start-up companies. During her time in Colorado, Lori has also worked for an international engineering and manufacturing company.

When not perfecting a contract or debating the proper use of “shall”, Lori is either on a mountain bike trail with her husband, or giving her charming cat, Stella, lots of attention.
