Drafting a contract is a lot like assembling a puzzle: you need to organize different parts, put like-shapes together and make sure there’s a framework into which everything fits. Katy has been solving legal puzzles for two decades, and she still loves it. She has a knack for spotting patterns and organizing disparate terms to create strong business strategies, enabling her clients to successfully structure their deals. Clients benefit from Katy always challenging herself to be an even greater resource, so that every project she works on is better than the last. She is constantly raising the bar on her own expectations.
Katy’s legal experience include stops in large and small firms, as well as in-house counsel for companies in the manufacturing and big data industries. She works with clients who need support with commercial contracts, licensing and overall deal strategies. Her clients represent a wide range of industries and business sizes and types, and they all rely on Katy to frame and structure sales, vendor, licensing and services deals. Outside of Sage Law Group, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two teenage sons and dog.
